She Got A Tattoo! + Give Away!

I decided to do my first Give Away, because.. Well, no reason. So, did I trick you with my tattoo?  It's actually a fake one, from Tattly.com. A while ago I saw them on Cynthia's blog, and I immediately knew I had to have them. I really like tattoos, and I'm spending hours on WeHeartIt or Tumblr, searching for gorgeous pics. The reason I don't have a tattoo is quite simple; I don't know what I want! I feel like one day you just know what you want your tattoo to say, or in case of an image; what it will be. And, of course, where I want to put it. I placed this one on my forearm for example, but I like feet, shoulders and ribs also. This site was really a solution for me, they've got many great designs and it's very inexpensive! Read further for my experience with Tattly, and how you can win two tattoo's yourself!

So I ordered the tattoo's, and according to the website it could take 15 days before they would arrive, maximum. I got mine much earlier! The next day I got a message that they were sent, and after four days they came with the post. So it only took five days! As you can see it's an old-fashioned envelope, and I really should have been born about an age earlier, because I really have a thing for..

fancy postcards.

I only ordered one design, because I first wanted to know if it would work. And as you can see, I got a free cupcake tattoo with it. How cute is that? I think it's great service that you get a free one, because it's worth 2,5 pounds. And since the shipping costed me two pounds, you actually don't pay for shipping at all (outside America it's two pounds, otherwise it's free).

You get this little envelope with your tattoo, and the reason behind it is that Tattly wants you to share your tattoos. Therefore the tattoos always come in sets of two.

There's also an application instruction on the back of each tattoo, and as you can see it's really simple. It reminded me of the free tattoos you always got with chip bags, back in the days.

Since I just came out of the shower, I didn't clean my forearm again. Then I removed the plastic, put the tattoo on my forearm and used a wet washcloth to press it down. Easy as A, B, C; even the Jackson Five at early age could do it.

And here's the result! Looks good, doesn't it? Of course when you look close enough, you can see that it's not a real one. But I'm not going to brag about that, I was asked a lot if a got myself a tattoo. So it looks real enough. It settled perfectly on my skin, and right now I'm wearing it for three days, and it has maybe gotten one shade lighter. According to the website it should last for five days. They also say that fine lines may come off after three days. Removing them earlier is possible; just use some soap.

For a set of two tattoo's you're paying five pounds. Shipping in the US is free, worldwide it costs only two pounds. The good thing about Tattly is that they support designers; they asked them to design the tattoo's. On the website you can see exactly who made which tattoo. And another good thing; you can choose PayPal as paying method. They have a very wide assortment, from texts to colorful 'thingies'. I'm in love with it and I sure will place another order.

Since I got two of the focus tattoo's, and a cute little cupcake, I decided to do a give away! Tattly wants me to share them, right? :)

What do you have to do to get these two tattoos? Not much, actually.
* Follow me on Bloglovin' or GFC
* Leave a comment behind telling me that you're joining this Give Away.

In exactly one week I will pick a winner, who will be chosen randomly. It doesn't matter where you live, I'm happy to send them to the other side of the world. On thursday 15 november I will send you an e-mail/message if you've won this give away. Good luck everyone!

XOXO

PS Tattly.com isn't shipping any tattoo's right now, because of the storm Sandy. Their headquarters is in New York and the power in their office is off, you see. They will be back soon, just look on their website for more information.
